Ok, its a joke.

It's great to have almost 2 MB on one side of C-60 cassette comparing this to roughly 80 KB.

Remember that Atari casete recorders are using only Right channel for data. So, in theory it is possible ;)

Well, there are also four-track heads :) and we can always speed-up the tape for example 2x. The bandpass increases twice too.

hmm.. that 6600 system is interesting.. like 600baud sounds, but without head.. heh.. one record have 3-4 seconds? wow..
some TURBO D loaders/utils i release in ATA #18 tonight, but i dont know if other utils i release on #19, because its lot of that..

TURBO EMO (ROS), i have something on tapes, but tape is break / cuted.. i must fix it..

edit:
vrrrrr.. i trying 45 minutes fix it.. i was almost 95% done, but.. cut again.. i dont time for this, i send tape to one expert, he fix it in 2 seconds.. grr

working TURBO DNM (modified TURBO D)

TURBO DNM can using 9600baud, buts too unstable.. TURBO EMO - QTOS/QROS have stable 9600b

on video i have xc12 with universal turbo mod.. its interesting that universal turbo can loads TURBO DNM format.. hmmm

Uwielbiam AOL za takie wstawki co 10 lat :).

A co do 9600 - to nie jest granica możliwości.

4 sekundy ładowania :) I dało by się to zdekodować na Atari? Pewnie nie.

Z przystawką w formie RPi Zero dało by się zdekodować.
Ale po co komu taki szybki magnetofon :).

Poza tym trzeba by popracować nad pasmem, bo te 9kHz to trochę za dużo dla XC12.

Jakby nie liczyć wychodzi 9,6 MB na kasecie 60-min.
To jednak też nie żaden rekord, bo były streamery, które na kasecie (specjalnej) podobnej budowy zapisywały 600MB.
