   Hello,
   
   the database of AOL has a version of IBM Tetris, that does not work on real A8 from diskette (because one segment uses $0600-29xx to load). Some time ago I asked Homesoft to fix this and he did, alas he splitted the file into approx. 780 segments...
   
   Now, I used Ataricom by HiasSoft to merge the segments together again and then SuperPacker by TeBe to pack the file from 58k down to 26k... and both files now work on the real A8...

   A tak przy okazji Tetrisa, to pojawił się ciekawy artykulik o tym, jak radzono sobie z randomizacją klocków w kolejnych wersjach Tetrisa:

   Wrzuciłem ostatnio filmik z rozgrywki w Vioris, taki tetris-like z 1996 roku Dariusza Kociuby:
   
   

   
   
   Pojawił się dzisiaj komentarz, że to nie jest tetris-like, tylko dokładnie tetris. Otóż nie! Tylko podobny do tetrisa - w tetrisie mamy wyłącznie klocki czteroelementowe, jest ich siedem typów. Tutaj są dodatkowe klocki, jak trzyelementowe (na filmiku widoczny w 2:44 i 5:42 oraz 5:50), dwuelementowe widoczne w 3:27 i 7:06, a nawet jednoelementowy z 5:06. To zmienia rozgrywkę, jest znacznie łatwiej. Dodatkowo w tetrisie pole gry (tetrion) ma pole 20x10, tutaj jest 19x12.
