Dlatego Yoomp to jedna z mocniejszych pozycji w moim growym 3 filarze emerytalnym ;)
I once bought the standard version of Yoomp, which included a cart, a tape, a disk, a manual with highscore table, a pencil (to write down highscores) and the package.
All media contain both NTSC and PAL versions, alas, only the slow tape and disk versions come with the loader-intro (the bouncing ball), whereas the cart shows a black screen for approx. 10 seconds, ouch. Did not like this cart-behaviour and sold the complete package.
A few years later I bought a cart-collection for 120-150 US-Dollars, including: Bounty Bob strikes back, Yoomp, Hobgoblin, Robbo Forever, Pacman Arcade and seven more carts, which I do not remember right now.
Instead of a re-release of Yoomp, maybe it would be good if the authors would allow official sale of the XEX versions on an atarimax cart (or a 64k Williams cart from Video61) - that shows the loader-intro for some seconds (or until a key is pressed) instead of a black/blank screen...?!? Dungeon Hunt (by Jacobus) and a few other A8 carts also show a black/blank screen for several seconds which is not nice in my eyes. If a cart game does not execute immediately (or at least within 3 seconds), it should show some intro or text, so we know it is still doing something and the cart is not faulty nor the computer has crashed.
Of course one could simply copy or flash the fileversion(s) of Yoomp onto The!Cart, an atarimax 1Mb cart, an atarimax 8Mb cart, a UNO-cart, an Ultimate cart, a 512k megacart, a 4MB megacart, a SIC! cart, etc. So there are various A8 cartridge alternatives available...
