Well, there are two different versions of ACP... ;-) Find attached several pictures which I shot tonight with my mobile phone camera (all the colourtest screens appear much too bright, in reality they are not so bright; looks like the camera software made them brighter). I connected the ODV to my 139cm Hisense TV and used PAL, double-line mode (720x576P), which can be seen here:
1a) ACP 1.1 by MDA with Composite: 1b) ACP 1.1 by MDA with S-Video: (note the patterns!)
2a) ACP 1.0 by ??? with Composite: 2b) ACP 1.0 by ??? with S-Video: (again patterns!)
3a) Atari DOS 2.5 with Composite: 3b) Atari DOS 2.5 with S-Video: (patterns!)
4a) PAL artifacting (Run Around II) with Composite: 4b) PAL artifacting (Run around II) with S-Video (Composite=colours, S-Video=no colours)
What can I say, with the ODV converter and upscaler I prefer Composite most of the time (no patterns!) and use S-Video only for b/w text or b/w games (Gr.8) without artifacting.
Niekoniecznie, mam taki sam efekt, był o tym gdzieś też wątek bodaj. Coś tam sygnał za mocny czy cuś i robią się takie widoczne pixelki. Np. taki obraz mam z 576NUC+, a co ciekawe niby tam nie jest takie najgorsze to video out i na 2 XE.
Tak w ogóle, abstahując od urządzeń zewnętrznych, wszystko wskazuje na to, że telewizory LCD z oryginalnym wejściem AV mają wprost genialne moduły konwersji obrazu. Wszystko to, co do tej pory widziałem, to niestety większy lub mniejszy syf (pomijam konwertery w cenie telewizora). Jak to możliwe?
Problem znany od lat, jak nawet wszystko wyłączysz (co się da w menu wspomaganie obrazu filtrów itd.) to i tak obraz potrafi być dziwny. Natomiast są sprzęty lcd które dają piękny obraz z vbxe. Widziałeś nie raz na moim jednym szajsungu tym małym.
Jest vbxe 3.0 z hdmi, na sztabie było kolejny raz info że to leży i czeka.
...turns out, I am an idiot... regarding ODV HDMI converter, I noticed (or better found out) the following thing today:
Do NOT connect S-Video and yellow cinch (CVBS) cables simultanously ! Otherwise S-Video will show awful dithering patterns; without cinch (CVBS) connected you get a crystal-clear S-Video picture!

Since the converter has an input switch (to switch between YUV, S-Video and CVBS), I thought it would not matter, but well, it matters a lot! You get a better picture if you connect CVBS only and a much much better picture, if you connect S-Video only (all those dither patterns are gone then)...
yeah, you are right. i connected to my a8 cvbs and svideo at the same time, and svideo is also awful. i see that this kind of connection is showed at photos on amazon's announce; but this is not proper (not from one source).

Jak masz niskie standardy i nic innego - to może i się przyda :) No jak to chińszczyzna. Crystal-Clear S-Video z tego nie ma. Musiał być jakiś powód, że od kilku lat leży u mnie w rogu szuflady i specjalnie go teraz wyciągałem i otrzepywałem z kurzu :)
Laga nigdy na tym nie sprawdzałem bo używałem go tylko do grabowania. Ale podejrzewam że z natury rzeczy będzie mniejszy niż przy kowersji do cyfrowego HDMI
