    Eighth place, really? I don't believe that my pokey song played correctly. It was already crackling a lot on the YouTube stream and sounded overmodulated and noisy. Maybe it was something to do with the stream, but the other songs didn't play that badly. Songs made in PC tool RMT sound and work differently than those made in a real music Atari editor, and the mix needs to be prepared and tuned for that. This isn't the first time this has happened; my songs have sounded bad in the past, and I'm really sorry about that. This was the last music I sent to SV. But it's strange that my music sounds fine on LOST or LAST. They probably put more effort into it there. My music wasn't so bad that it would end up in eighth place. I'm really very disappointed. It's necessary to play and prepare the audio output for each song and check if it sounds right. That's exactly why I sent the mp3. I play the music at home on an Atari with a stereo from Lotharek (two real pokeys) and the output is completely clean, no noise and sounds right.

    Każda praca miała zapewnione takie same warunki w kwestii prezentacji, czy odsłuchu audio. To, co jest na streamie odzwierciedla też realny odbiór sali, to bardzo złożona sprawa i kosztowała nas dużo pracy - niemniej jednak kodowanie dźwięku przez YT nie należy do idealnych, tak więc przyjedź na party i oceń naszą realną pracę sam będąc na miejscu. Nie wyciągaj też pochopnych wniosków. W kwestii oceny produkcji - Twoja ocena jest subiektywna, finalnie jednak obiektywnie zweryfikowana przez głosujących obecnych na party place czyli tam, gdzie nikt nie miał zastrzeżeń do tego co widział, lub słyszał.

    Dużo 256-tek i to dobrych. Wszystkie gry 256 były świetne. Oraz piękny Timberman.

    Dzięki Grey i ekipa SV, party pod kątem organizacyjnym pnie się w górę, to cieszy. Prace były, też cieszy, tylko ludzie....

    Uchhh, a ja stałem metr od Ciebie, ale nie chciałem Ci zawracać głowy, bo rozmawiałeś z Lizardem....

    PS. Komponowanie na Mikeya (w Furnace Trackerze) to faktycznie frajda – polecam wszystkim, zwłaszcza że na SV2025WE ma podobno przyjechać RJ :D

    Poison, Your stereo POKEY music was very good, but... You have a recognizable style, which is considered awesome, but reusing the same characteristic tricks, sounds year after year can also work against you in competitions. The technical playback was fair, but sometimes musical style and freshness matter just as much, if not more in this kind of voting situation. Try not to take it personally. You are talented. Having said that, competitions are always a mix of art, audience taste, and a bit of luck! Don't stress keep it up. You won't always win. Greetings! PS. Yes, you should come to the party next time. The stream is just a stream and there may be issues, but not significant enough to loose a compo. I also feel that the sound at the party is better (no lag, no transcoding, hick-ups, etc).

    In my humble opinion, Poison's work sounded the best it could, in convention - we transmit simultaneously the background of the Party Place (background conversations, reverberations and reflections of the room, transmission lag - because you need to be able to separate in your head ;) what comes from which source). Classic distortion has a “punch” and will break through to the listener even from a CRT monitor speaker. I know the xxCMCxx sound inside out, only such pokey I knew between 1992-2022. Compo is not listened to by noobs. It is listened to by people who 80% of their lives are associated with Atari and statistically such sounds prefer.
    
    @Poison do not find a problem here, seriously. It's not for me to judge the results of voters, nor to direct resentment to anyone.
    
    I'm leaving aside the xxCMCxx vs RMT discussion because, at the end of the day, pokey registers have not become more or less since they were invented, and whether a given music program uses them is another matter.
    
    From the perspective of RMT and experimenting with it. If I hear most of the nuances in “Clubbers” from a sofa scenester's perspective - then, it was a solid live stream, for which I am grateful to the SV Team. TBH, the themed streaming from a Pokey Compo perspective - audiotechnically, it was the best I've had the pleasure of hearing in the last 2 1/2 years where I send anything to the compo and follow the theme.     @Kaz Dziękuję, że napisałeś bo nie miałem świadomości że nie jest dostępna. Paczka została wystawiona w newsie na starej (letniej) stronie ale przy transformacji w nową link zaginął w akcji najwyraźniej - dzisiaj wieczorem powróci.
    
    Dodatkowo za parę dni pojawi się osobna stała sekcja, gdzie będzie stuff do pobrania z kolejnych edycji
